Thanks Lin for the feedback. The brine to bean ratio must vary a lot from brand to brand then. I’ve updated the post to reserve it first ad then add it back in to the desired consistency. Thanks again for the feedback. Cheers, Caro

Good taste, you must reserve brine otherwise it is too soupy. Ruined first batch following all instructions.
